 Housing:

Housing will be co-ordinated with host families.  Please note that students opting for host family housing may stay with a family who do not have a student involved in SAIMUN or an association with St Andrew’s College; although these families would have a long tradition and experience of housing MUN students.  Students will be housed in the locality and will be provided with half board accommodation for the 4 nights of the conference (Monday 2 to Thursday 5 April 2012) You will be departing the hosts house on the morning of Friday 6 April.  Any further requirements for student accommodation, either before or after the conference dates must be arranged separately (see Hotel Accommodation).  Schools wishing to avail of housing this year should note the Housing Programme is limited to a confined number of students and will be on a first-come-first-served basis on receipt of Housing Form 7 which in any case must be returned by the deadline (10 February 2012).  St Andrew’s College reserves the right to allocate Housing to those schools whose participation at SAIMUN has been long-standing and with whom we have a reciprocal arrangement.  Students staying with host families will be collected by their family from Royal Marine Hotel at 17.00 on Monday 2 April.  Students must then use public transport to and from Royal Marine Hotel each day (their host family will tell the students where to get the bus/DART from).  Students will also make their own way to Royal Marine Hotel/Kingston Hotel (together with their luggage) on the Friday morning to meet their adviser.
